2008 Subaru Outback Sport, Stereo Wiring

I have a couple quik questions if u guys or anyone that knows about this type of car. Now i went off a diagram i found online, and i was unsuccessful on installing the stereo. but now i went to put the old stereo back in and doesn't work. The stereo wiring no longer has power, and the inside dome lights no longer have any power. I have Checked every fuse and they are all good. can someone pls. lead me in the right direction as to what might be the promblem. and if someone can help me out with the right stereo wiring diagram. cause ive checked on this site and its not on here. Im open for any ideas as to what could have possibly have gone wrong. Thank you very much.roberto barajas

You need a test light or multimeter. Dome light usually doesn't link with radio power, cigarette lighter does. If you can't find the fuse. Pull radio out and test for 12 volts. Put the ground test lead on radio chassis any where. Test blue/red (constant 12v) and yellow/red (ignition). If power coming from. 2 wires radio defective. If power coming from neither of the wires change ground from test light. If power from only 1 wire you can jump the 2 together for test purposes. If it turns on run a new wire to fuse Box and call it a day. Make sure you tap into the side of the fuse that does not have power or fuse it.Rocky Verma
