Should I Keep My Hornet 564T?

Hello there, I have an older vehicle that I will be getting rid of soon. About 12 to 15 years ago I installed a car alarm, and I'm wondering if I should save any of it. The components are: - Hornet 564T 2-Way Security System with Remote Start - Directed 520T Back-up Battery System - Directed 515R Siren with Backup Battery - Directed 513T Mini Piezo Siren - Directed 508D Invisibeam Field Disturbance Sensor (not installed) - Directed 524N Door Lock Motor - (2 of them, not installed) Several years ago, the alarm started messing up in a way I can't remember, so I disconnected the brain. The 508D and 524Ns weren't ever installed, but should I remove any of the other parts from the vehicle? Since the alarm hasn't been used in years, I'm assuming the 520T is dead, and probably the 515R also? Is any of the wiring useful? What about the 513T? I haven't looked into new alarms but I'm just wondering if any of this would be of use in installing an alarm into my next vehicle. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't bother removing a non-functioning alarm/remote start. Even if it was a working system, unless you have another old vehicle to put it in, I wouldn't bother pulling it out. Modern cars with factory immobilizers, push to start, low current ignitions, and data bus power commands are better done with more modern alarm/remote start systems. The 508D and the 524N that aren't installed are worth keeping if you plan on using them in the future; otherwise, I'd sell them.
