I’m trying to program a new remote and it’s not saving it to memory, Once I get into program mode the antenna reacts to the remotes button press by turning the park lights on, but that’s as far as it gets, it’s supposed to blink 5 times and it’s not. Anyone have experience with Autostart brand that can point me in the right direction?

keep holding the lock when you are programing the remote. the park lights should flash a few minutes when the remote is learned.

Yea I’m doing the steps correctly. And I thought at first I was getting a reaction from holding the lock button down. But the park lights will come back on anyways whether u hold the lock button or not. So maybe the antenna can’t receive anymore? The blue light blinks rapidly all night long

I think you are doing it wrong, the blue light flashing rapidly is normal when it's unlocked.   are you flashing the hood pin twice and then trying to program the remote?

Yup following the steps
My hood pin is actually broke, but I vice grip it to a ground. Then I use the PAB button exactly like the hood pin to get into programming mode.
Hold it for 4 seconds, let go
Park lights come on
Press it again before they go out
Park lights stay on for 20 seconds
Before the park lights go out
Turn key on then off
Hold lock button on key fob and nothing happens
Park lights come back on after a few seconds, but they do that anyways whether u press a button on the fob or not

that is the correct way getting into programing.. only thing I can think of, is either bad remote, bad antenna. Do you only have the one remote? are you sure you have the correct 2 way remote?

Yea I was having trouble with it before, seemed to work some days, other days it wouldn’t respond, but the blue light was always blinking.
Maybe I’ll try a new antenna 🤷🏽‍♂️
