I cannot for the life of me seem to find a place to connect a remote start (-) Start Activation wire on my Camry V6 with the factory anti-theft system. I have the full wiring diagram for the car, but it seems that the relays are internal to the body control ECM. The system is a basic Cool Start RS-00 that includes a key bypass module. The instructions are flat out terrible but I have fumbled my way down to this last wire. It relies on 3 negative pulses to activate the start with the factory remote. I would be happy to smash it at this point and buy something better if that is what it comes to.

Check this wire.
Power Lock      blue / YELLOW       -       DKP or bottom of fusebox, 20 pin plg
I have no idea if this wire changes state when using the factory keyfob.

So I did more digging and the kit that I purchased requires an additional relay wired in to trigger activation from the lock solenoids. Since the OEM fobs dont have great range, I opted for another kit that has new remotes. The wiring is the same so I didn't lose any time invested and I was lucky, because all connections were wrapped and soldered. The system is now fully functional but I have some odd behavior. The vechcle is a V6 with OEM Toyota security. With the OEM fobs, I get a security system chime with lock and 2 chimes with unlock. It is not from the horn, but a different buzzer. With the new fobs, I get lock and unlock, but no chimes and no light flashes. I know i can code in the light flashes, but I am wondering if I don't get the chime if the OEM security is not activating, or if it will not deactivate with the new remote. Not a big deal, I just don't want to unlock the doors with the new fob and have the alarm going off at 4am. Only thing left is to add the optional trunk release wire.
Note to anyone doing a 5th gen Camry V6 (2002-2006) get a kit that does NOT use the factory fobs. It is a much more straight forward install, atleast with the cheaper kits on Amazon.
