Not sure if I am in the right section. Please advise if not.
I have a 65 Corvette and I recently installed an analog reading electronic gauge set including a fuel gauge. I am using the stock 0-90 ohm tank sender. The gauge needle fluctuates wildly while driving. I'm pretty sure the cause is the stock sender in a non-baffled tank. The level reading appears close when the car is not moving. I have seen some info to reduce the sensitivity of the gauge by installing a capacitor across the signal and ground wires at the sender but not real details or specs. The gauge supplier has not been helpful with other issues with the gauge set a purchased. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks
Tom

100 microfarad at least 25 volts. Negative lead of the capacitor to ground. The other lead of the capacitor to the output wire of the sending unit.
Let's Go Brandon Brown. Congratulations on your first Xfinity Series Win. LGBFJB
