I'm attempting to automate up and down on a rear window of a SUV. The alarm can only send a single pulsed ground signal as the trunk release function.
I have a PAC TR-7 in mode #8 that is close to what I need, but I need to generate a delayed second ground pulse to unlatch the outputs after 5 seconds.
Any ideas on a timer IC or circuit design that could accomplish what I'm looking for, or should I just scrap the TR-7 and move on to a microcontroller to handle the logic?
