I just completed my at least 10th+ 211HV, 2101 RKE Install into a 90's GM product, this time into my 1992 Corvette. As usual, the Lock and Unlock were "backwards'. I mean wth? This happens every time I use my GM Factory Service Manuals for wire colors. And the "car wiring" guide for the 1992 Corvette on here are the same colors as my FSMs which show: Blk = UULOCK and Lt Blu = LOCK.
I had to transpose Grn/Blk and Wht/Blk Which are LOCK to the Black car wires
I had to transpose Blu/Blk and Brn/Blk Which are UNlock to the Lt Blue car wires.
Which car wire color is which? I've been getting this wrong every time I do one for almost 20 years. I'm going to write it on my shop wall above the bench. (And no, I don't / can't remember after a few years since the last install. Just that I always have trouble, and double-check my work, and still it ends up backwards.)
Thanks for the help. Thanks for reading.
