you can support fiberglass with pretty much anything but i would recommend pieces of mdf because it's the strongest form. once you've fibderglassed the box and put matting on it the fiberglass and bondo do almost all of the supporting. as far as chambers, you don't really need them, they are mainly used as a support and if you've fiberglassed correctly then you shouldn't need them. what I usually do when building a glassed box is make the rings and dont cut the centers out. i find the center of the ring and mount a 2x4 to the center of the ring, and to the base of the box. this gives you a really strong support to pull you mold material over it.then do all your glassing. then once the box is al glassed you can cut the center out of the ring and pull the 2x4 out through the sub hole. as for supports, i agree. the only time you will need them is if a glassed portion of the enclosure has a large flat spot. then if that is the case. you canglass a piece of mdf in there. or it can be figured into the design if they are for dividers.
