Hello, my first time doing a compustar dc3 remote start and want to make sure I do this right to achieve takeover on my 2022 prius prime. The wiring diagram below calls out for an in line 1 amp diode after cutting the blue ignition wire. My question is do I need to use two diodes? One for going from the pink ignition wire from module to the blue connector wire. Number 2 diode going from the existing blue wire we cut on vehicle side going back to the blue wire connector side. See attached image.

Oh wait! I think I had this upside down. The cathode side goes towards the pink ignition wire(from module) and blue wire(i just cut) on the vehicle side right? That makes a lot more sense to me.

Alright, I have it all installed but the vehicle doesn't remote start in Ready mode. Does anyone know if this is a setting change? I had to change the engine tach detection to "Assume start 2 seconds (for hybrid)" and im wondering if hardwiring the tach wire and setting "Tach input/data" would fix this and put it in green Ready mode. Thanks in advance!

I have the takeover setting enabled and the vehicle remote starts/functions 100% but won't remote start in ready mode (basically simulates having the foot on the brake upon normal starting so engine/ICE kick on) so instead it just blows cold air and drains the 12V battery.

My starter wire wasn't soldered well enough. I have it all working now!
