Hi
I'm trying to install this unit for my 1990 Toyota Celica GTS, manual transmission. there are few things I'm not sure about it.
- do I have to hook up the ignition 2 from the unit to my car ignition 2 as well
- not sure what the light flash onboard relay from Viper unit for with 10A fuse
- flex relay control output
- H1/10 white/blue remote start-where to connect?
Thanks for the help

Your vehicle is listed in the vehicle wiring section:
https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/alarmdetail/2050.html
The downloads section has the Viper 5701 manual:
https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/file.asp?ID=710
As always, be sure to first verify vehicle wiring information with a multimeter before making connections.
Yes, connect ignition 2 to the black/orange wire at the ignition harness.
If you're asking about the position of the 10 amp fuse, move it to the negative position since the factory uses a 15 amp fuse, and connect the Viper's white wire to the light green wire at the switch. You won't use the white/brown in the Viper harness.
The flex relay should be default ignition 2 so there shouldn't be a need to mess with reprogrammming this. Just connect the Viper's pink/white to your ignition 2 (black/orange).
If you choose to connect the white/blue activation wire, you can add a momentary push button switch to ground and connect it to this wire.

It's wire you can use to keep the car running if you make a pit stop rather than pushing the remote start button on your remote.

I did not hook this wire. Is it to ground? I made another post by mistake. I got to the point where the car is ready for remote start but evrytime I take the key off to leave the car, the engine stops. I 'm missing something here. What make the ignition stays so I can take out the keys? Thanks

Again, the "pit stop" function is optional. You can see in the manual it's a negative input. I told you how to connect it if you want to use it.
There should be 2 wires at the clutch switch. One wire should show ground at all times (white/black). The black wire in pin 2 should test as ground only while the clutch pedal is pressed. If this is so, it should be connected to the negative starter wire on the 5 pin remote start auxiliary harness. This should be violet (purple). No relay needed.
As far as the engine shutting down: brake, emergency brake, door trigger and tach all need to be connected.
Also, tach must be learned. This procedure is listed in the manual. Be sure to read it and familiarize yourself with it.

Thank you for your advise. I hooked up the pink/white to black/orande and now I can take the keys off without shutting down the engine. What wire do I use to override the clutch switch. Thanks again
