2017 Chevrolet Equinox, Relocate Heated Seats Switch

Id like to start of by saying thank you in advance for any and all help. My Dad gifted me his 2017 Chevy equinox, which I am very very grateful for. After looking on the internet for a radio replacement, there are VERY VERY VERY limited selections. Crutchfield says it can't be changed. I found a tesla style radio on Amazon that says will fit the car. The issue is the heated seats switched would be lost and the heated seats no longer work. So what I want to do is relocate the heated seat switches to a new location so I can use this radio and maintain my heated seats. The switches are three position high, med, low press switches. I don't mind canging to another high med low switch, but i need to know the wires to move out of the harness to the new switches. Would anyone have recommendations for 3 way switches that would work for replacements? My goal is to eventually put a sub system in the vehicle, but need to start with the radio imo. So i will be making a bracket to hold the amp knob and the seat controls could go on that too. Any help would be great and much appreciated.jb

The issue you'll run into is the factory switches run on logic (data bus) so it's not just a matter of wiring up a few switches. See here: Unless you're dead set on going with an aftermarket unit, you might be able to use a t-harness from Axxess to connect your own sound processing equipment (AudioControl or JL Audio), amps, etc. This will not be cheap. Idatalink maestro doesn't have anything listed either.

Well the factory unit doesn't support Android Auto wirelessly, and the screen is kinda small. I thought about just running things through a DSP and keeping the same head unit. It would work becuase it does play songs via Bluetooth now. Inwas just trying to get better functionality when I put in the system. Was doing Orion HCCA 12's and HCCA components with required HCCA amps. Haven't figured out the DSP yet. Probably Audio control. I was just really hoping for a better functioning head unit before going with the bump. But Chevy had to go before buttheads.jb

Why in the world would Chevy make heated seats so complicated too? Oh good grief. I might have to just use the factory headunit. That is kinda frustrating.jb
