Looking to upgrade the head unit in my 1999 Trans Am convertible. I have a pioneer AVH 3800 BHS with good kicker speakers and a Timpano thousand watt digital amp. Sounds fine but I have a hard time seeing the screen with the top down and I want Android auto. I'm looking at a Kenwood excelon BMX 958 XR. It has 5 volt pre outs and upgraded screen. It does everything I want but it's a thousand dollars. Is it three times better then a Windows based joying or a Toto head unit? Thanks for any help in advance.
