A friend of mine has recently bought a Lincoln Towncar Limo. He imported this from California. We installed a navigation system from Alpine. Everything is working as it's supposed to be, but I can't find the wire with tacho signal.  According to dealer info it should be a BLACK/ grey wire behind the radio or dashboard controls, but there is no BLACK/ grey wire in these locations.

Can anyone tell me if there is a tacho wire in this car.

|       TACHOMETER|grn/wht or grn/yel  |   |*4

|      SPEED SENSE|dk. blue / YELLOW     |   |pin 84 on the PCM *5

*4 There is an ignition coil for each of the eight cylinders.  The closest one to the front of the motor on the drivers side has GREEN / WHITE or GREEN/ YELLOW wire.  *5 The PCM is located just to the drivers side of the brake master cylinder.
