2003 C240 Head Unit
How hard would it be to remove the stock unit and replace it with a dvd/lcd deck. I just want to know how to remove it, the wire colours/adapters and such. I also wanted to know if it is possible to keep the steering wheel (volume/audio controls) functioning with the new aftermarket deck. The dash concerns me as well, because the stock unit has display functions there and I was wondering if the new deck would be able to display there as well?

What do you mean "the stock unit has display functions there"?   Do you mean like the stock head unit displays temperature/climate control info in addition to the stereo stuff?

There is not a steering wheel control interface available for your vehicle;  PAC actually has a poll on their main page asking if "Would you like PAC to make a steering wheel audio interface that supports Mercedes and Volks Wagen(2002-current VW)?"

Also I forgot to ask....do you have the Bose system in here?  What about the navigation system?
