I was just wondering what in each of your opinions who makes the brightest LEDs...
the brightest I have been using is Varad...they seem to throw out a good amount of light...
does anyone else have any experiences with any LEDs that they would reccommend or classify as a high output or superbright LED?
thanx for your input...

if you want a really bright LED, look at electronic suppliers and look for the highest luminocity rating in mcd. some of those things are extreamly bright especially the blue and white ones.

That link is broken.

I recently went to good 'ol Radio Shack and got the brightest Blue LED they sold and replaced my standard red one.  At night the whole interior of my car lights up blue every time it flashes.  It looks really cool.  Plus I just hope it keeps the thieves at bay, you know, maybe look for a different car.  I've been thinking of adding more LEDs just to be on the safe side.
