my Alpine CVA-1005 is now stuck, at first it would come out an inch or two and go back in, i would have to keep opening it for about 2-4 tries, for it to finally open, but now its stuck for good, the open/close button is dead, its not even beeping at all, how much would it cost to fix it?

The belt or the gears that the screen uses are stripped or worn. You will need to get it replaced at a authorized Alpine dealer or a repair depot. They will be able to give you an estimate as this is a common repair for these monitors.
