a friend recently purchased a car that had an alarm previously installed before he bought the car. problem is he doesn't have the remote's and doesn't know what kind of alarm it is. my question is, is there any way to find out what kind it is? there's nothing on the case of the brain to identify it and also would like to do about ordering remotes for it. any help would be appreciated.

You'd have to get a picture of it and Email it to me.
I may be able to recognize it.

There are so many no name alarms out there it would be lucky to find out which one it is without opening up the case and seeing the name on the pc board, if they printed one on it.

I've never seen "Brands" printed on a PC board.
If it is "Generic" getting a installation guide would
be easy. Again, I'd just need a pic.
