youll want a starter kill, shock sensor, additional channels for adding other components later on, dome light supervision if u like, .

i have alarms if u email me i might be able to get one for u depending on how much u wanna spend. when it comes to alarms i would go to cheep remember its there to help prevent some one from stealing it.

Hey 91civicdx,

When you say that you bought a door lock kit,  do you mean two relays or a keyless entry with door locks?  DEI has several alarms that are inexpensive like for example the Hornet or Wasp brands.  Good alarm system for cheap - Last Post -- posted image.

My alarm suggestions are a bit extensive, but here it goes:
2 remotes (4 buttons each if ya can)
battery backup siren
doors, hood, and trunk pin sensors
impact and motion (shock and towing)
glass breakage mic (prevent a center punch or ceramic shard impact won't catch)
radar/proximity if ya leave your windows open at all
electronic or mechanical hood lock bolt to prevent popping the hood to cut the siren or battery
dome light surveillance
flashing parking lights
horn honk optional
aux. for trunk release, power sliding doors, etc, and to illum. headlights for 30 seconds when approaching the vehicle
power door unlock and lock (keyless entry)
power window roll-up module(s)
and finally starter kill. at least the starter solenoid, if not fuel pump too.

nice, but I'd still opt to add on a battery-backed up siren, and an electronic hood-bolt at minimum, if not glass-breakage mic as well.
