DEI 566T Hood Lock.. does this work?

Anyone have experience w/ this?  Is this really effective?

I havent used dei's 566t, but I've seen one just like it made by another maufacturer. And yes, they doo work. Its a cable operated lock that actually latches to a bracket that you mount to the bottom of your hood, so as long as that cable is locked, the hood is staying shut. This also depends on how well you secure this bracket to the underside of your hood (every chain is only as strong as its weakest link)
