Stupid me, I somehow lost my alarm remote yesterday.  It must have dropped out of my pocket.  The cheap plastic case on it was broken where it attaches to the key ring so it was seperate from my keys.  Damn it!  Anyway, I have a second remote but since I don't know where I lost it I'm worried it could have got into the wrong hands (if I lost it around my house).  Is there anyway to reprogram the alarm so that only the remote I have will work and the lost one won't?  The alarm is a DEI Python 650ESP.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes just reprogram the alarm, check your instruction manual and or user manual if both are lost goto Python 650ESP you just have to know where your valet switch is

Thanks for your reply.  I had a look at my alarm manual earlier and couldn't find any info about my specific (idiotic) problem.  All I could find was a "tranmitter learn routine" that said it was to program upto 4 remotes for the alarm.  Do i just do this routine with my 1 exsisting remote?  Will that change the codes and make the lost remote stop working?  Thanks very much.

go to page 25 in the install manual it talks about a "channel #9" just do this then all the remotes will be erased BUT NOTE that it will RESET all settings to factory
