has anyone evr seen a rockford amp or any amop that continues to blow my fuse by the battery as if there was a short but when power wire is disconected from amp the fuse does not blow?? the amp was working fine fro a few days and then it blew the fuse at the battery,so i checked my power wire for any breaks or anwhere it could touch the chassis and it was all good, when i disconect it from the amp it does not blow fuse but when connected to the amp it immidiately blows the fuse??

Usually when that occurs, it means that the amp has an internal short in the power supply, basically it will need a new circuit board. Hopefully the amp is still under warranty.

Try a different amp and see if it still happens.

i had no amp to try at the time but the power input and the ground input had continuitywhen no power wire was connected to the amp, so i know there is a internal short in the amp.that sucks!!
