I have looked though the car security section and I can't find which type of trigger my central locking system incorporates, so that I can hook it up to my existing alarm.

I have an actuator control module that all the system's wires connect to, out of this are the two wires in question. When I touch them together, the locking system triggers. Once for lock, then another for unlock. What sort of sytem is this?

P.S. on the wiring diagram, there is no mention of (+) or (-) poles.

What door lock kit are you using? (Looking for one myself.)

As far as wiring it up I think you need relay(s) on it to hook it to the alarm.  Check the door lock section under Car Security for diagrams.

Wait for it............ a 1980 toyota corona....

The instalation was a long one.

The problem is, that I don't know which one of these relay wirings I need. I've tried wiring assuming the system is 3 wire positive. No luck. Oh well.

Try hookin it up for negative, just take ur alarm (-) lock output and tap it into the lock wire in the car, do the same for unlock.
