Jeep Cherokee Door Locks

Hello! Im installing a Crimestopper CS-2011RS III in my 97 Jeep Cherokee, ive come to the part about installing the door lock wiring, ive got three choices of how to wire it, but have no clue which one my jeep is (the options are: Negative Trigger (-), Positive Trigger (+), or Reverse Polarity...   Everything else in this installation wasnt too hard, but im stumped on this, PLZ help!!! Thanks Alot!

I half understood what you meant by that, do you mean run wiring to both the front doors (driver and passenger doors) or just run the wire to the front driver door and it will take care of all the rest?

I disagree with what rick has posted. Use a negative trigger setup and run the wires to only the drivers kick your lock wires are: |       POWER LOCK|ORANGE / purple *2    |- |drivers kick panel          | |     POWER UNLOCK|pink/purple *2      |- |drivers kick panel These wires require a high current ground to pulse the locks, therefore relays will be required

ViperATC5 is correct---they're just negative trigger in the driver's kick, coming in from the door. The Audiovox alarms I use have lock outputs rated at 300mA, and I have always been successful connecting them directly, without relays.

the wiring in my Jeep must be very forgiving because i wired it positive trigger in just the door kick and it operates just as i want it to....
