hello everybody. i was curious, is it possible to connect 2 dual 4 ohm subs and 1 dual 2 ohm sub to get a 2 ohm load and distribute the power evenly?
i was thinking of wiring each of the subs in series to get   two 8 ohm subs and one 4 ohm sub, and then hooking all three subs in parallel to get a final 2 ohm load seen by the amplifier.
if it is possible, would the power be distributed evenly? or would half of the power go to the dual 2 ohm sub and one fourth of the power go to each dual 4 ohm sub?
i would just like to increase the cone area using 12's while using the same amp. please provide me any info you can. thanks in advance!
Jon

Wire the (2) 4ohm DVC's in Series/Parallel for a 4ohm load, then wire the (1) 2ohm DVC in Series for a 4ohm load. Then wire the 2 sets in parallel for a 2ohm total load.

thank you wvsquirrel.
my amp supposedly pushes 900 watts at 2 ohms, so would the single 2ohm dvc recieve about 450 watts while each of the 4ohm dvc's recieve about 225 watts? i'm just making sure my current division is correct.
if they do recieve different powers, would this pose any problems?
