My car has a factory fitted basic alarm, instead of a siren it is just connected to the horn of the car..  Everytime I Arm or Disarm the car I only get flashes on the Front and Tail Lights but not the chirp sound.. I only get the sound if the alarm was triggered which is coming from the horn.. My question is would I be able to get that chirp sound if I disconnet it from the horn and change it to a car alarm siren?

P.S. I would very much appreciate if someone could help me with this..than'x

this is possible but VERY difficult, you would have to find the wire the sends the 2 flashes to that parking lights, which is near impossible, and then you would have to find the siren trigger which is hard also, you would be better off to add a "el cheapo" alarm w/ a good siren, cause thats basically what the factory alarm is, it would be worth the 50-70 bux to spend on the cheapo alarm then be under the dash for hours to find those wires.

than'x very much eric, I guess I have no choice but to get one in that case..

I'm actually saving some money to get a good alarm and maybe install it myself.

The truth is I don't know anything about wiring, diode or relay but I can learn and follow instruction I THINK or maybe I'm dreaming.....
