i just bought a 2002 is 300 and i have a pioneer xm unit and i was wondering if there is any special antenna adapters needed since i will be installing xm through the factory radio
1. whers is the easiest place to find the anteena behind the radio or somewhere along the floor board
2.if going behind the radio how do remove it i dont want to f**k it up.
im a certifed installer but i have never done a is300 done everthing else   if u have any help thanks

You shouldn't need any special antenna adapters with this vehicle.

These are for the '01 IS300 which I think is the same thing as the '02....

1. Remove bottom panel containing traction control using panel removal tool.

2. Using small pick, remove felt fray from top panel, extract (2) Philips head screws. Pull out top panel by pulling towards you.

3. Extract (4) 10mm bolts securing radio, Disconnect and remove.
