Hiya,
I have a 96 Olds that I want to put a pair of 8" subs in.
My questions are these:
Has anyone put subs in the panels adjacent to the rear passenger seats? I am hesitant to put them in the rear deck as I will have to cut steel to do so.
Also, I am into SQ at realistic volume levels. The old Nakamichi SP80's were great subs but, unfortunately, no longer made. It has been about 10 years since I put together a good system for myself and wonder what is out there now. I read that the MBQuarts are extremely accurate. What else is there to choose from?
Note: I will be running MBQuart Q-series 6" mids and tweets in the doors...
Thanks in advance,
From the Desk of:

Yea I'm looking for a single 8" sub to replace the bose woofer in a g35 sedan. since it's in the rear deck i'm gonna need a sub that can be used free-air and haven't had much luck finding one.

I'm planning on putting a single Diamond Audio CM3 8" in my wifes truck. They run about $100 each from my local dealer, pretty tuff little subs.
