i Have installed a autopage 610 with the gmld and pldata units....the keyless system works fine with the new remotes and the windows roll up....but I still can't get the remote starter to work..the pldata is programmed correctlyand is on operating postion....anyone else run into this problem and if so how do i solve it

you likely need to enter programming mode before the starter will even attempt to start. That is how the two Autopage models I sell work. Look in your manual toward the back where it outlines the start feature programming. It will refer to testing the start features and this is what you need to do. Read the entire section.

i did the testing...the rpm test went thru and then i try the starter test and it will not start while in the programing mode.....any ideas

What happens when you attempt to start the car remotely? Does the Ignition turn on and then no cranking? or does nothing happen at all? Watch your security light on the dash when you start the truck with the key and compare it to how it acts when you try to remote start it. There could be aby number of problems, but I will need as much detail as you can provide.

im the programing mode rpm test and sets...then it says to remote start
to finish for the crank time programing and I get nothing no crank no attempt
from the alarm to start
i have grounded the toggle switch and the hood pin switch
everthing else is hooked up properly
the pldata programmed and is in operating positon
the glmda is working properly also
what other info do u need?

the thing that has caught me several times with the autopage units when they won't attempt to crank it the neutral satey switch, make sure that it is grounded.

Well, if the hoodpin wire is grounded, the unit thinks the hood is open... that can't be right.
