They are not that bad but not that great. Some people have nothing but problems with them and others love them.

I have a MA amp and 2 ma 12 xe subs.  I went to a copmetition  to see what i would hit and i got  a 143.5 on a lin x mic.  I think thats pretty good considering i bought the subs for $70 each and the amp was $230.  Im giving each sub over 600 watts rms and they are rated for 350.

Testes, just curious as to what size/type of enclosures your using for those subs? I have 4 of those 12" XE's waiting to be installed in a project car of mine and haven't really looked into box specs yet. Just wondering whats working the best for you.

As of right now im using a sealed box that has a seperate chamber of 1.5 cubes for each sub.  Im working on a ported box for comps.  My sealed is made of 3\4 inch mdf.  If you you want some box designs you should talk to some people on the ma audio forums at  http://maaudioforums.maaudio.com/index.php .   What amp(s) are you using with those subs?
