Anyone have experience with exchanging engines with this particular car.

We took the original engine '91 from our US stickshift model, and replaced it with a '96 engine, that came out of a US automatic gearbox equipped car. We are in europe, so we have little info on the US models.

After reconnecting all the wires, the engine wants to start, the starter engine works, but the engine doesn't start running. Is this caused by a wiring difference, or safety device, that is different from the stickshift model???

Any suggestions???

Greetings from Europe!

I would refer this question to some people over at 300zxclub.com they are all about 300s and they should know the answer to your question.
