Amp on box?

Hey I need some serious help with this fiberglass box im planning on making. I am doing it in the back of a 4runner and am thinking about putting the amp in the box with the popout look (like speakerrings but a ring type thing for the amp) but would that not work because i would have to run the RCA cables,power cables and all that sh*t right thru the box. am i right? thanks chris if you have any help post or email me at puga911@Aol.com i am putting in 2 rockford fosgate punch hx2 15s 1001bd ampdream it, build it, fiberglass it

u could incorperate a passage for the wire directly into the design of the enclosue this is what i have done many times in woodwn enclosures but never on a fiberglass on but it will work :use a piece if abs pipe to run frome the bottom to the top of the box (or side to side). i always use 2 inch lecve a couple of inches on the oustide of each wall mold the glass around the pices sticking out of the walls might need to use an epoxy in that area to get the glass to stick to the abs when every thing hardens grind the ends of the pipe flushy to the walls of the enclosure and you have built in a wire carrier leave about an inch and a half between the amp and the box so you can stash all of the wire under it

thanks for the info swerks thats what i was thinking but it may be to complicated for fiberglass because i would need 2 tubes for each side u know.so im thinking i may just make part of the back of the box ( the trunk slants) be wood where i would screw on the amp and all that sh*t but would that be enough room for the heatsink and all? any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanksdream it, build it, fiberglass it

Hey i found a solution after i looked at it and thought about it for about 30 mins im just gonna do a seperate box for the subs and run a 2 inch pvc pipe around the sides and back in the corners of the trunk as a tunnel for the wires then make a seperate box for the amps to be on and conect the 2 its kinda hard to explain but i got it in a bag but thanks for the helpdream it, build it, fiberglass it
