It is a chevy engine

Just a couple quick questions. Is the unit in the Motorhome an aftermarket kit? Or is it a factory unit.

If it is an aftermarket kit and a carberated model, you will need a speed generator. It will hook in in series with the sppedometer cable. It best to hook up as close to the transmission as possible.

If it has the aftemarket kit, it may already has the speed gererator on it. Most have a blue and gray wire coming from the gererator going to the servo.control box. You could use it as long as it test out o.k.

Most motorhomes are gm, which is the easiest to put cruise in.Use the 4160 and a vac. cruise (454's have plenty of vac. to spare), and it'll work for the life of the motorhome.

the SCS/Frigette 2265 (vacuum) or 4465 (electric) cruise is my recommendation.
204-4131 handle
and
208-3606 speedometer speed signal adapter (if it is pre-VSS)
