hey everybody.  i just picked up an '04 wrx, and i am going to install the viper 790, pair of 530ts, and a 508d this weekend.  it is a stick, but i've got plenty of precations to not worry too much about that.  my question is, does anyone know if there are any differences between this and the 03 model (in terms of wiring, etc).  i called directed and they knew nothing, had no info, told me i was a guinea pig.  im not too worried about it, but its a brand new car and wanted to cover as many bases as possible.  all info will be greatly appreciated.  thanks.

You have one of the few cars out there with a Neutral Position Sensor wire. It basically shows ground when in gear and positive when in neutral. Hooking it up to the hood pin input of the 790 will prevent the car from attempting to start in gear.
I have an 02....pretty much the same thing wiring wise. I can answer any question concerning remote start/alarms etc. about the car.
Visit the security section of www.nasioc.com for people familiar with the car (like me). Here are 2 links that should answer most if not all of your questions.
