Im thinking buying some subs, and i was wondering what ya'll think of audiobahn subs.  Specificly the aw1200q audiobahn sub.  Are these good subs?  What are some other sub names that would be on the same level as these?  Or does audiobahn blow?  Please give info.

Well you see that is the thing, im not sure on what amp to get for the audiobahn aw1200q subs.  They cost around 200 bucks, so any sub around that price that would be as good or better that these audiobahns would be good.  And for the amp, i would want to get a good amp that can run these 12's, im looking for one that is no more that 500 bucks.  If anyone can guide me into audio heaven that would be great.

I’m not a huge fan of Audiobahn anymore I just don’t think they are that reliable and they are way overpriced. The only product I would buy would be their amps.

I would suggest you look at the Diamond Audios CM3 http://www.diamondaudio.com/MobileAudio/index.cfm?page=Subwoofers with a JBL 1200.1 http://www.purecaraudio.com/product.asp?0=200&1=352&3=322
Another sub to look at would be the Eclipse Aluminum series subs http://www.eclipse-web.com/products/speaker/sw8100/sw8122dvc.html they are a little more expensive but would be my first choice.

ok i had two of the audiobahn 1200q's in the back of my 00 mustang, and was running 600 watts to each of them.
the subs pounded, i was hitting 130db, but the sound quality SUCKED! they were the most accousticly inacurate subs i have ever heard. however if you want loud bass on a budget they are perfect for that. just remember these subs are power hungry so save up for the amps.
