the amp is FI820 or something like that and the subs are XL1235's, and i aint too old for loud music , im 18 LOL

Power Acoustik FI2X-820 200 x 2 @ 4ohms 250 x 2 @ 2ohms 500 x 1 @ 4ohms mono/bridged Sony Xplod XS-L1235 4ohm SVC 200 RMS 800 Peak Safest wiring configuration Your safest way is to wire each sub to its own channel. You will receive the 200 x 2 @ 4ohms rating (each sub will receive apx 200 watts). This is actually the "ideal" match for your subs. Try at your own risk Your amp is only listed at 4ohms Mono stable. If you bridged both subs you would present a 2ohm mono load on the amp. Some amps can handle a 2ohm mono load (even if the specs don't state it), some can't. If you try this way, start with the Gains turned All The Way Down (counter-clockwise), and then slowly increase them. If the amp starts shutting off on its own or you get alot of distortion, then immediately revert to 1 sub per channel. You may damage the amp and/or subs in the process though, so be warned (clipping is never a good thing for an amp to do). If it works, you would get at least 500 watts total, 250 watts per sub. LMAO!!! And don't worry, I've got 10 years on you and I'm still not too old for loud music Squirrel
