heres the deal, i have a 00 mustang and am looking to re-do my system. right now i have a kenwood kdc-mp919 head unit, a clarion eq, 2 kenwood 600 watt 2 channel amps going to 2 audiobahn 1200q 12" subwoofers. i scrapped the subs due to the fact that i hated the sound quality (or lack there of) does any one have any ideas for what i can do? i am looking for high spl AND good sound quality. also what mids and highs would be recomended any info would help
thanks

Are you looking to scrap the amps and subs or just the subs? As far as the mids and highs go I would suggest MB Quart http://www.mbquart.com/2003/en_US/products/prodline.asp?line=car or focal http://www.focal.tm.fr/gb/sommaire.htm or Diamond audio http://www.diamondaudio.com/MobileAudio/index.cfm?page=Speakers

yea i am going to scrap the amps and subs. the amps aren't a high enough wattage to power anything substantial. i was considering going with visonik, jl w3, or the kicker solobaric l7 12 for the subs. any idea of a good all around amp/amps for the subs?

on subs and amp between $500 and $800 then the highs after the trunk is finished. i have looked at the rainbow, focal, and mb quart. i am pretty set on the mb quart on that aspect, unless i can find somthing better for cheaper.

MB Quart is the way to go. But as far as the subs go I would suggest you look at the Eclipse Aluminum series http://www.eclipse-web.com/products/speaker/sw8100/sw8122dvc.html 1 sub will move more air than any (2) of the subs you listed above and the sq that they put out is amazing. You can find the subs for about $200 each and I would suggest a JBL 1200 to push them http://www.purecaraudio.com/product.asp?0=200&1=352&3=322

If you look around you can find that sub for in between $200-$250 and there worth every penny. If I had to choose from your list above I would suggest the L7. Let us know what you choose.
