What's the easiest safest way to prevent the remote start from engaging when car is left in gear? I was told there's a "neutral position switch" in my 1997 Nissan Maxima 5sp. Is there a way to only allow the car to start if it's in neutral and parking brake engaged? thanx.

There is a " GREEN/ ORANGE wire at the switch ( ?? ) on the driver's side " that is what my tech notes tell me. This is a (-) output wire. If the Autopage has a manual mode on it, I  HIGHLY recommend that you use it along with the nurtral safety wire.
