I'm such a girl...I did something (who knows what) to my sons car & his alarm is going off & his car won't start.  I've tried flipping the switch (at least I think it's the switch) under the dash (it makes the little red light above the radio go off), but that didn't help.  I've done the key in the door & locked  & unlocked...but that didn't help either.  How do I "kill" this thing? Makes me wish I took auto mechanics instead of dance class.  THANKS!!!

Did you try putting the key in the ignition and starting the car? In most cases that will disarm the alarm system, so give it a try if you havent already.

I tried that as well.  At this point I'm figuring that there's a short somewhere.  The car is dead...nothing...nada.  When I hook it up to the battery charger it still won't do anything (I hear the fuel pump go on. Oh well.
