Hey Folks,

I've just installed a JL12w7 in a ported box that I put 2gether from Select Products. It sounds pretty good  too. I just need a grill 4 it. I know that JL sells one 4 it but I'm looking 4 a more conventional looking one. The Jl one has the 3 chrome bars but I want one that will cover the speaker so that when I have stuff in the trunk that may slidw around ...it will protect it from punctures and such.

If anyone knows of a manufacturer or someone who does custom work..please advise me.

Thanks

Take a look on the Parts Express web site.   I buy lots of components, drivers and interesting things from them.

i remembered seeing this one, its for a 15" jl speaker, but maybe they have one for 12's. i don't know if this covers enough of the speaker for you, but i think it would look clean with your w7.

none of those grills will work for the W7.

You have to have something that mounts to the box comes up quite a bit and goes over then back down....those go right onto the speakers mounting...the W7 inst like that.

I dunno how you'd get a grill that'll look good on the w7...

I need quality equipment, feel free to donate.

Not true...The one that I'm getting is made for the 15w3 OR the 12w7. I looked at the different boxes that they had on their website and they show a 12w7 using this particular plexi grill.
