please help me out.  I recently bought a lanzar svdvd6 dvd player and an explore flip down tv for my explorer.

after installing it im having some problems.  it will play vcds perfect and some dvds but on most dvds the color comes in and out and the side waves back and forth.  it almost is like when you hook a dvd player up to a vcr.  what could be wrong? i hooked the dvd player up to my home tv and it works fine.  i hooked my home dvd player up to my mobile tv and that works fine.  could the inline filter from the tv be giving the dvd player a false reading of it being hooked up to a vcr????

I suppose it is possible. You should contact Lanzar and see if they have heard of this problem. Depending on where you got the monitor from, you should ask them about the problem and see if they will replace it.

i tried bypassing the noise filter inline to the tv but that did not help at all.

i dont have much choice of running the rca cables being as that the power ground and rca come off the tv together until they leave the filter.  After the filter i pulled them as far away from each other as possible.

ps. could this be a voltage issue?  Not getting enough power?

if it is a voltage issue then why do some dvds work and others(most) dont
