Velocity Motor, Just for my info...... The foot brake is just a positive jump start for the system?  Could you for example.. directly ground the hand brake and install a push button switch wich only alows the 12volts to pass through while depressed?  Would this work??

Yes, this will work as well. I usually don't put this into systems ( the push button for the foot brake ) because it's only necessary at start up of the car and it extra work to install. If you want to you can install the push button if you think it will be easier. Just make sure that you fuse this 12 volt source just in case.

Heres another way to do it. can the foot brake you dont need it.  On the plug you should have one empty slot take a piece of wire and strip it back like a half inch and push it in the empty slot in the plug after that ground it and wire tie or tape it one inch from where you put it in the plug so it doesnt come out or if you want to pull a wire out of the plug you arent using  clip and all and just push it in the empty slot which ever way is easier. This is how we wire the monitors on a display in my store.

i just finished installing the screen, finally had the time to do it.  Thank you velocity.  The install went perfect, easier then i thought it would be.  I think i did sum very creative shizz for my first lcd install Alpine LCD Screen Wiring - Page 2 -- posted image.    I made a custom flip out screen with my alpine monitor.  Here are sum pictures.  I still need to make a faceplate and and a few other visual mods.

gotta new question.  Is there a way i could wire my ps2 to my kenwood excelon headunit so i can control bass/volume?  My headunit has rca type connectors coming out of it.  Theres one white and one red rca for the front speakers, and one white and one red for the rear speakers.  I tried connecting the one red and one white rca from my ps2 to 2 of the wires coming out of the headunit, but i cant get the headunit to fully play the sound coming out of the playstation.  My headunit only give me the option of cd/tuner/alloff.  When i turn it on to tuner i can hear a little sound from the playstation, but i cant control volume.  How could i connect sound from my ps2 to my stereo?

You need to get an FM modulator so that the Play Station will play through the FM band of the radio. UNLESS, the Kenwood has audio INPUTS in the rear of the deck that will support an audio signal going into the deck. The RCA's that you described are OUTPUTS and only put out a signal. You can pick up an FM modulator for about $ 35.00 or less.

BTW:  That install you made.... is it motorized or just a manual pull out ?? It looks good !!

As of the moment it is manuel, but later when i have more time i will be able to make a few more mods and add a motor.

My kenwood has a input for a cd changer, do they make adapters for that?

you guys playing with the alpine lcds should check out a company called pacific audio. I think their site si www.pacificaudio.com. They have chips available to wire the brake setup that allows you to utilize all features of the decks, without being in park

Call alpine & tell them that you have a Truck & that your going to put that TV into a headrest & the have a headrest kit  that they can sell you or at least the have it for the tme-m760. That doesnt go through the breaks. I called them today. Because I have racked my brain for the past 24 hours once i found out that   you have to go through the brake wires. Now im at ease, after searchin all day  how do you think i found this old @$$ thread but just for future reference. That kit by passes the requirement to hook it up to brake wires.
