I have a 2000 Exployer with I belive the premium sound system.  It has a cd player, tape player, and a 6 disc changer Factory Head unit. I'd like to keep this and install a 4ch amp for new 5x7 - has 4 two in front and two in back doors. Also would like to add another amp for 2 12" subs . I know I would need line convertors to do this but how many? I'm thinking I'll need three? But how would I hook this three up?Please help! Will the fade still work?  Also it has the rear stereo "back seat" system will this still be usable? How do I go around it?  Thanks for any help given!

You can get one 4 channel LOC and use the pass through RCA for the sub amp from the 4 channel amp ( if it has one ). Make sure you tap the LOC on the output side of the OEM amp.

the oem amp should be in rear passenger side panel. the whole panel will have to come off to get to it.
