kenwood 969 & amp remote turnon

so i think i'm gonna power my new hu off the power/ground blocks in the trunk when i install my system. hu is a kenwood x969. what do i run to the power block in trunk, the ignition or acc line. what do u do w/ the 2nd line then? connect it to the stock harness wiring. i know what each does but i still confuse them. the acc is the constant one right? cuz it gets power always from battery. the ignition gets power only when the ignition is on. the remote turn on i'll run to the rear then splice in about 2 feet to split it to each amp (4 channel and sub amp). ground i'll run from hu to the ground block in rear. i'm confused about remote turn on. my hu seems to have 2 of them.

i'm looking to run the hu power from the rear connections based on a recommendation from someone who's in car audio so that there's a single power connection and single ground connection in my system

no i didn't cut the stock harness, all stock wiring is in place. i bypassed the stock amp. and used a harness for the jensen hu thats in now. ok that pink black wire now makes sense. cool.  thanks for explaining the acc and batt.  i stupdily didnt even think of the acc position for the ignition. much clearer now.  so use the ground on the harness i have. should i simply run power off the harness too or can i run the constant power to my power block in the rear.   i'm trying to keep my system as clean and consolidated as possible for max sq. this is my first real system install and just want to do it right the first time.

whats the best way to connect the remote turn on to 2 amps. since its 18 gauge wire, do i run it to first amp, then stick a 2nd turnon wire into the "in" of the first amp and run that to the "in" of the 2nd amp. or can i just run the wire to first amp and tap into this wire at some point then run to the 2nd amp.

no problem. glad that i could help.  for the look of it, i usually butt connect two turn on leads out of the one turn-on wire under the carpet or panels by the amp, then run  them individually to the amps.  it doesn't really matter how you get the turn-on lead there, but this way will look cleaner.  run your power wire for the deck off of the stock harness as well.  much easier and cleaner looking.  any other questions, keep posing them, and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability.  good luck.
