i just got two alpine mrd m500's last night and hooked one up over my older rockford and i'm hearing bass notes i never existed...i would definately get the alpines

What are you looking for? what kind of music and so on. the Soundstream Tarantula will beat them to death, 2000 watts at 2 or 4 ohm. But that may be out of your budget, let us know more about you and what you are willing to spend/music/spl/sq.
You will get a better answer that way

i listen to rap and hip hop and some rock money wise i wood like to spend no more than 400 on a amp and if i want to spend that much im looking for an amp to run 4 of the alphasonik 12's

your gonna spend more than 400.00 if you want to pump those 4 12's.

ok , then what would you suggest, also considering i have 2 be able to fit it in my car, i have  a four door honida civix lx and im going to be doing a custom enclosure in my trunk

go with the jbl 1200.1 you can get it for like 250 but you'll probbaly need to update your alt cause you will need two of those...and you might want to upgrade your mids and highs to hear them

try the kenwood 1000w mono sub amp.  its like $300, 2 ohm stable and plays really low.

the jbl is a better amp with more power for cheaper...
and honestly I dont think you will need 2 1200.1s to run 4 Alphasonik 12s...
