The 4 CV's will receive apx 40 watts each. The Lexon's will receive apx 19 watts each. 2) Wire the 2 CV 5252's and the 2 Lexon 1800w's to the Front 2 channels of the amp (1 CV and 1 Lexon per channel) for a 2ohm load per channel, and the 2 CV 1683's to the rear 2 channels (1 CV per channel) for a 4ohm load per channel. The CV 5252's and Lexon 1800w's will receive apx 36 watts each (or 72 watts total per channel). The CV 1683's will receive apx 40 watts each. And yes, bass blockers would be a good idea for the tweetersSquirrel

It wouldn't hurt to use dynamat (or some other sound deadener). You wont have excessive bass since you don't seem to be installing subs, but the sound deadening will help eliminate road noise. If you are considering getting a larger amp, go with a 4-channel rated between 50 - 70 watts RMS per channel at 4ohms (between 50 x 4 @ 4ohms and 70 x 4 @ 4ohms) and use Option 2 from above. Imaging is always important to SQ. You will probably be using the factory cutouts for the CV's. You may want to look into some custom kickpanels for the 5252's, they may give you better imaging up front. As far as the Lexon's go, since they are 3" flush mount you are limited to where you can install them. Either a dash mount or high on the door should be adaquate. 18 or 16 gauge would work fine (although 16 gauge is probably a little overkill for your setup). Speaker wire is pretty much speaker wire. But the RCA's need to be quality ones or else you run a high risk of EMI interfeerence. Believe it or not, RCA (the company) makes a set of RCA cables called "High Performance Digital Cable". I've used them before and they work GREAT. I've done major no-no's in the past (before I knew any better, or just didn't have a choice) and run these RCA's directly parallel with 4awg power wire. No interfeerence AT ALL. A 6 foot set (2 cables) of those will run you about $15 - $20. You will need 2 sets of dual RCA cables (4 cables total) regardless of what brand you buy (Front right and left, and Rear right and left). If you stay with the RF 301X, use 8 gauge power wire. RF (as well as others) makes amp kits if you don't already have the wires and in-line fuse. You can pick up an 8 gauge amp kit for pretty cheap (usually less then $30 - $40 bucks).Squirrel
