Car: 1993 Honda Prelude
Is it normal for the A/C not to come on while remote start is running. I have the accessory wire of the Hornet 554T (orange) hooked up to the BLACK/ white accessory wire of my car. During remote start, the car idles fine and the radio comes on, but not the air conditioner. Is there something extra I need?

Are you turning the A/C on before you leave the car?  If so then you probably have an additional accessory wire you need to power.

I'm thinking so, but I'm not sure which it is. If you look here: http://bulldogsecurity.com/New%20Wires/New%20Wires/Wires/prelude92-93.htm

There's a Ignition 2, which is yellow, I didn't use that one at all in my install. Could that be for the A/C? Also, if it is, could I just add a wire from the accessory wire of the alarm and tap that yellow wire?

A relay from Ignition 1 to power what? Ignition 2? Are you confirming Ignition 2 is my A/C power?

Or you can remove the accessory wire wich is powering the radio and who knows what else, and tap into the yellow 2 ign see if the ac turns on. After all why do you want your radio running during remote start, I do it if i have left over accessory wires from the remote start module if not I just wire what's important.

It's funny what unprofessional says but true: I got a customer one day claiming that the AC wasn't working during remote start. I knew I hooked it up fine so when he came to the shop I showed him it was working, and he says "well but do you have to leave the ac on before you get off the car??"
