A friend of mine wants to know which is better?  Bandpass or sealed for rap in the trunk of a car? Back seats folded down or up?

a ported box should work best for rap. band pass boxes only play a narrow "band" of low freqs and you miss alot. sealed boxes are great for rap to ,but i think you get the best deep bass from ported.

a sealed box for a trunk with seats up,  ported box with seats down. if you had a ported box in a sealed trunk you wouldn't get the full performance of your sub because most of the soundwaves would be going in and out of your box. you can also have sealed boxes with seats down is placed near the rear corners of your trunk facing toward the passenger area.
