You will need to get a new speedometer or get one with less miles on it . Up here is Canada it's illegal to change a speedo and have it reinstalled into a vehicle.

If you sell that vehicle you better mention that the miles are not actual.

It is only illegal if you try to sell someone the truck and say it only has the miles of the new engine.  When different engines are installed the true millage becomes unknown (can't remember the selling term for it).  If you ever had to have your ECU swapped out (like if you fried it somehow) your millage would be screwy from that too.

I have no idea how to do what you want but whenever you sell that truck if you attempt to misrepresent the mileage of the vehicle you can probably be fined and maybe jailed.  Exact law varies by state I believe.

Just curious, but how did you manage over 400k in 3 years?  Trip around the world a few times? ford truck over 400000 -- posted image.
