I'm trying to add power door locks to a 96 Ranger X-cab without replacing the entire door(s).  The truck is an XLT, but has manual windows and locks.  I pulled the door panels and poked around in the door, but I didn't feel a spare harness for either locks or windows.  The windows would be nice, but aren't as important as the power locks (I'm putting in a CoolStart 900ER remote starter).  I know I need the lock hardware (the pin, solenoid, harness, door switch and interior trim panel, etc.), but is there anything else I'm missing?  Is this a massive undertaking, or a matter of switching some plastic and splicing some wires (I would assume the solenoid brackets are just part of the door stamping, regardless of the vehicle's trim level)?  I'd rather do this myself and not have to pick up a set of power-equipped doors, but will if it's necessary.  Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks much.

No need to replace the doors!  I'm not sure about the windows, I know they sell motors you can add on, but I've never done it.  I did, though, put in actuators and a keyless entry system in my Integra (that had no power door locks).  This is what I bought:

All I did was:  (1) take off the door panels, (2)install the actuator to the existing mechanism in the car door, (3) run the wire from the actuator through the door, through the rubber boot between the door and the car, and into the car, and (4) installed it into the keyless entry.  It's not very easy to do, but it can be done.  I have pictures if you like, let me know
