The remote starter I bought has 5 or 6 aux. outputs on it and I just want to know how I could possibly need that many. lol

What are some uses that you've used AUX outputs for?

I'm not a "professional" installer, I just do it for a hobby.

Windows, stereo on or off, trunk release, door pop, motorization... the list of possibilities is unlimited. You just have to use your imagination!

i hooked one of mine up to the IGN input to the alarm (diode isolated from the car) and its nice because You can just hit that to keep the alarm from auto arming for times when you dont want it to.

But yea there are probably a million different things it could be used for...

Well it still seems excessive to me.  In this case the installer is me and I lack imagination I guess. lol

Why the heck would you want to remotely turn your radio on and off? lol

Thanks for the info, guess I need to get imaginative so I can use them. lol

Just a "wow" factor I guess. Why do people install actuators in their vehicles? They serve no purpose for the sound quality! They are there for the "wow" factor. As far as your imagination goes, just look at simple things and ask your self if you could make it work at the touch of a button. It's what makes this all fun. Try to make something out of nothing. Good luck!!!
